We’ve tried to put this event together on a shoestring, but be conscious that no matter how inexpensive, our community includes folks for whom cost is a barrier. Through donations, we’ve been able to lower the cost of all tickets for some events, or create a reserve of low cost tickets for other events.
We’d like to do more, including discounting more tickets, making tickets as inexpensive as possible for those who need it, and including accommodations like lodging and gas for those who might need help. This isn’t a huge event, the entire weekend is executed for less than $8000, so microdonations of $100-500 have a significant effect.
- $500 created 25 low cost tickets for our arcade afternoon.
- $500 lowered the price of dance party tickets to $10 for everyone.
- $225 allowed us to create 15 low cost tickets for the Goat Farm.
