Description: For one weekend, we can create the space to live “normally” amongst people with the same values around COVID and form real world relationships. We’re creating as many layers of COVID mitigation as we can, to reduce as much risk as possible. Campers will hopefully feel comfortable unmasking around other campers, sharing space, having activities together, eating together. Each camper will be responsible for leading an activity or preparing a meal or adding to camp in some other meaningful way, so everyone gets to know you. However much we mitigate, there is always a degree of risk, so you need to decide it’s worth that risk to you.

Risk Mitigation:

  1. Registration is capped at 20 people.
  2. Every single person will molecular test, using Metrix molecular tests, provided to you, when you arrive at camp, Saturday morning, Saturday early afternoon and Sunday morning. Once your test is cleared, you can join the group.
  3. All activities are outside, in a giant open space. Tents/campers/cars will all be spaced atleast 100 feet apart. We are the only people in the space.
  4. This event is mask optional, but you can continue to mask and distance with the full support of everyone there. But unlike events we share with the rest of the world, the goal here is shared space with unmasked folks.
  5. Every attendee will be given an identifier to wear that will tell all other attendees if they are comfortable being approached, wish to remain socially distanced, etc. Please respect boundaries.
  6. Attendees will attest that they are currently taking standard precautions. No attendees will be flying in, to diminish exposure. All attendees will attest that they have been masked anywhere in public in the six days prior to camp.
  7. If a camper tests positive for COVID, they will immediately either leave camp or relocate their campsite to a space atleast 500 feet away from other campers. The rest of camp will ensure that they get any assistance they need for treatment.

REGISTRATION

All costs, including campground rental, firewood, extra tables, activity fees and food are shown here. You can change the number of attendees to see how it affects the final cost. It will not exceed $150/pp, and will include the Aptitude test hub for you to keep, plus all the tests you’ll use at camp (worth $150).
